Outfit Palettes ("we", "our", or "us") is operated by Volcano Byte. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Outfit Palettes mobile application (the "App").

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

If you choose to sign in using:

  • Sign in with Apple
  • Sign in with Google

We may collect:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your profile photo (if provided by the login provider)
  • Your Firebase user ID (UID)

You may use the App without creating an account. In that case, your data remains stored locally on your device.

1.2 User Content

If you create an account, we store:

  • Saved color palettes
  • Favorites
  • Style preferences
  • Personalization settings

This data is stored securely in Firebase (Google Cloud infrastructure).

We do NOT collect:

  • Your precise location
  • Your IP address
  • Sensitive personal data

1.3 Analytics & Crash Reporting

We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to:

  • Monitor app performance
  • Detect crashes and technical errors
  • Understand general feature usage

This may include:

  • Device type
  • Operating system version
  • Country (general region, not precise location)
  • Anonymous usage events

We do not collect advertising identifiers for tracking or behavioral advertising.

1.4 Subscription & Payments

Subscriptions are processed through:

  • Apple App Store
  • RevenueCat (subscription management platform)

We do not receive or store your payment information. All payment processing is handled securely by Apple.

RevenueCat may process subscription status data necessary to verify your entitlement to Premium features.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide and personalize the App experience
  • Save and sync your palettes across devices (if logged in)
  • Manage subscriptions and Premium access
  • Improve performance and stability
  • Provide customer support

We do not sell your personal data.

3. Data Storage & Security

  • Data stored in Firebase is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and protected by security rules.
  • Local data stored on your device is encrypted.
  • We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information.

However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

4. Account Deletion & Data Removal

You may delete your account directly inside the App using the "Delete Account" option in settings.

When you delete your account:

  • Your Firebase account will be removed
  • Your saved palettes and preferences stored in the cloud will be deleted

5. Children's Privacy

Outfit Palettes is intended for users aged 15 years and older.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us for removal.

6. International Users (GDPR & CCPA)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or California, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Request correction
  • Request deletion
  • Object to processing
  • Request data portability

7. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third-party providers:

  • Google Firebase (authentication, storage, analytics, crash reporting)
  • RevenueCat (subscription management)
